Government of Kerala has decided to accord a one time amnesty scheme for Vehicle challans issued under Motor Vehicle Act upto 31/12/2024. The amnesty scheme is valid for registration and payment till 30/04/2026 only. The citizen may register under the scheme and pay discounted price on Echallan site.

The amnesty scheme is declared to clear huge pendency of challans which prevents citizens from availing various parivahan services. The scheme is also declared in order to give an opportunity to citizens to clear all challan dues after the amendment of Rule 167 which mandates denial of services due to pending challans.
